How to change the bulb lights on viburnum. Headlight on Kalina. Using a multimeter. Relay and fuse replacement

How to change a light bulb on viburnum? Drivers often have this question, especially since on the domestic roads of cars, Lada Viburnum appears more and more. It is both reliable and unpretentious in leaving, and the owner himself can serve it. And if there is a slight repair, then you can do it yourself with a minimum of experience and a standard set of tools.

How to replace the headlamp bulbs

The owner of the fret also has to deal with the problem of how to change a light bulb on viburnum. First of all, we are talking about block headlights. They are a complex structural element, which is divided into headlights designed for low beam, high beam, and there are also dimensions and direction indicators. You can change the failed lamp, while the headlamp remains on the car. Before starting to replace the lamp, you need to disconnect the terminal at the place where the negative terminal of the battery is indicated.

Turn signal bulbs are easy to change if you follow the rules:

  1. The direction indicator cartridge must be carefully scrolled to the left. Just turn 45 degrees. Now it is easily taken out of the case.
  2. It was the turn to pull out the bulb: you should click on it, turn it all the way, all actions are performed to the left side, and it will immediately exit the cartridge.
  3. Install a new lamp, performing all the steps in the reverse order.

For there is its own order. The headlamp is released from the cover, which protects it, for this you need to pull on any of its petals. The next step is to disconnect the wires from the terminals that are in the lamp. Now you need to release the spring clip from engagement with several hooks, and remove it, and then remove the damaged lamp from the housing. You need to install a new one, starting the process from the end.

Usually, viburnum lamps are halogen, and when replacing them, professionals advise you not to touch the bulb with your fingers so that there are no dark spots when the lamp starts to heat up. If stains nevertheless appeared, they are disposed of with a cotton cloth soaked in an alcohol solution.

The replacement of the high beam lamp is as follows. The wires are disconnected from the lamp itself. It is held by a latch to loosen. For this, the ends must be compressed, released from engagement with hooks, and then put aside. It is now easy to remove the lamp from the housing, just as, by doing everything in the reverse order, put in a new lamp.

How to change the dimensions and stop lamps

When it is time to replace the lamp of dimensions, a protective cover made of rubber is removed. The cartridge must be removed, the lamp removed from there and replaced with a new one.

The headlamp also needs to be replaced from time to time. Who changed it knows that first you need to press on the clamps and very carefully disconnect the wires from the connector in the area of \u200b\u200bthe body and the cartridge, designed for a llama indicating a turn. The bumper will have to be removed. A screw is visible in the upper mount; it needs to be untwisted with a Phillips screwdriver. Three bolts are removed with a key on the "8".

Changing on a lift - it will be more convenient and faster.

It is necessary to remove the cap and wind the wheel, then the liner, although it can be left by unscrewing only the front part. It is pushed back, the bulb is removed, having previously freed the structure from the connector. When assembling, the wing liner on the side and bottom is screwed to the bumper.

Recently, LED lamps for viburnum frets have become popular. They are brighter thanks to powerful LEDs, consume less energy while maintaining battery power, contain a current stabilizer and a diode bridge.

All cars, including viburnum 2, have a brake light. A beam of light from it must be scattered a full 360 degrees in order to fall on the diffuser.

The replacement of the brake light lamps on the Lada Kalina 2 car is carried out without removing the headlights. It is necessary to disconnect the wires from the bulb, clamping the ends of the fixing part, disengage it. The lamp is removed, and a new one is put in its place.

Recently encountered a problem. When you turn on the low beam in the dark, I was surprised to find that it simply does not exist. Before that I went to Russia, where the inclusion of light in the daytime is mandatory. Therefore, when the dipped beam disappeared and what caused it, I did not know.

The wiring diagram for dipped beam in Kalina is extremely simple. On the route of the electric current from the power source (battery or generator) to the low beam bulb there are fuses, a lighting unit, a dipped / main beam switch.

The search began with the simplest thing - checking fuses. They turned out to be in order. After two more reasons were excluded (lighting unit and headlight switch), it was time to check the low beam lamps.

What can I say, this is a very, very inconvenient thing, especially if you do it for the first time and don’t know all the constructive subtleties.

IMPORTANT! All of the following is my personal experience. Not the fact that the technology described is correct. Therefore, the author does not bear any responsibility for any damage caused as a result of the following actions.

Started with the right headlight. In order to get to the lamp, I had to remove the tank with washer fluid. It turned out to be pretty simple. In order to remove the washer reservoir:

  • Remove the terminals from the motor contacts (two motors, in the case of a station wagon or hatchback), having previously remembered how they are connected;
  • Unscrew the front tank mounting bolt, which is located above the headlamp;
  • Loosen the nut that clamps the rear tank mount near the strut;
  • Carefully remove the tank without spilling its contents.

After that, we get quite normal access to the headlamp.

The procedure for removing the low beam headlight:

  • Remove the rubber cover to access the headlight;
  • Carefully remove the two power wires of the headlamp, remembering their location;
  • Gently push and slightly raise the iron latch bracket;
  • After the bracket is removed from the grooves, take it to the side;
  • Carefully take out the dipped beam lamp by the contacts.

The installation procedure for the low beam lamp is the reverse. IMPORTANT! In no case should you take your hands on the glass part of the lampbecause when turned on, it will burn out immediately. If this happens, thoroughly wipe the glass part of the lamp with alcohol and allow it to completely evaporate.

The order of installation of the low beam headlight:

  • Install the dipped-beam lamp so that it, with its protrusion on the base, falls into the corresponding groove in the lampshade, thereby locking firmly.
  • After that, the most difficult part is the replacement of the lamp - it is necessary to gently fix the lamp with a latch, hitting exactly in the grooves, it must be controlled so that the lamp does not turn in the lampshade. To do this, the latch winds up a little from above, then is lightly pressed and lowered down.
  • If everything went well, you should definitely check the reliability of the lamp mounting so that it is held securely by the latch and does not rotate around its axis.
  • Connect the wires, observing the polarity;
  • To close a hole with a rubber cover for access to a lamp;
  • Reinstall the washer fluid reservoir, securing it and connecting the wires.

After that, if necessary, you can proceed to replace the left low beam lamp. Access to this lamp is much worse, because it is almost impossible to remove the coolant reservoir without draining the antifreeze. Therefore, you have to dodge and act by touch.

Each part of the car has its own resource, after which it fails and needs to be repaired or replaced. Headlamps are no exception. In today's article, we will describe how to replace them yourself.
  To get started, you will need to visit a car shop and purchase new lamps. The low beam lamps for Lada Kalina are designated H7, and the high beams are H1. They have the same power - 55 watts. It will also be useful to know which fuses are responsible for the headlights - F12 and F13 for the low beam, F14 and F15 - for the high beam.

In addition, when replacing lamps, be careful not to touch the bulbs. They are very sensitive to the slightest pollution, which immediately affects the quality of lighting. If you still touch the bulb, wipe it with a clean cloth dipped in alcohol and let it dry, after which you can already install the lamp in the headlight.

How to replace the low and high beam lamp on viburnum

1)   Open the hood and remove the terminals from the battery.

2)    Locate the round case on the headlamp housing. Pry it with your fingers and gently pull it towards you - it will be removed without difficulty;

3)    Disconnect the tips of the 2 wires, remembering how they stood;

4)    Remove the special metal lock from the double hook;

5)    Gently grab the light bulb by the contacts and pull it out;

6)    Take a new lamp, install in the reverse order. Attention! There is a small ledge on the bulb base. It must coincide with the groove, otherwise the lamp will not stand correctly.

7)   Install the latch and carefully try turning the lamp. Ideally, it should not be cranked. Otherwise, remove it and repeat step 6;

8)    Connect the wires as they stood before the replacement, install the cover.
  As you can see, replacing the low beam bulb on Kalina is not a very complicated procedure. The high beam lamp changes in a similar way. After completing all the work, connect the terminals to the battery, close the hood and check the lamp operation.

Conclusion

In conclusion, it should be noted that changing the low and high beam lamps on the Lada Kalina is inconvenient without a number of preparatory work, namely removing the windshield washer reservoir and coolant reservoir. Although this greatly increases the complexity, but it greatly simplifies access to the headlights. In any case, to remove the tanks or not, you decide.

Good night light can be compared with good daytime vision. It is the light that plays a key role in the awareness of the motorist during night driving, if the headlights are dim or do not shine at all due to a blown bulb - you have every chance of getting into a big accident, you can only guess about the consequences ... Out of service headlights are necessary repair, and how to do this we will describe in this article. You will learn how to replace the front low beam bulb on Lada Kalina  do it yourself.

Like most VAZ cars, it lends itself perfectly to "home repair," so it makes no sense to go to the service station, wasting gasoline in vain and wasting money on something that you can do yourself without much effort.

Kalina's block headlights are divided into three sections:, and the turn indicator. In order to replace low beam bulb  it’s not necessary to dismantle the headlamp, so you don’t need keys or any other tools to do this. To replace, you need a passing light bulb, for example - Osram H7 12V 55W, tested on yourself, worthy light bulbs!

Do-it-yourself light bulb replacement Lada Kalina

  1. We open the hood, for safety, disconnect the "-" terminal.
  2. Optional, but very convenient - for easier access to the headlight.
  3. Now you need to remove the rubber cover from the headlamp.

4. When you have access to the light bulb, squeeze the aluminum latch lock shown in the photo.

5. Carefully remove the light bulb, then disconnect the power from it.

Note! It is strongly recommended not to take a new light bulb by the glass with your fingers; if this could not be avoided, wipe the surface with alcohol and replace it. The reason for this precaution is supposedly in the greasy spots that leave the fingers. Experienced motorists claim that a light bulb with greasy spots burns out very soon, almost immediately, so I advise you to listen and do as they say "gurus".

In the Kalina and Kalina 2 models, the headlights are different, therefore the replacement of the lamps in them has certain differences, and which ones we will describe in this article. Self-replacement of lamps will not cause you any special problems. Therefore, it makes no sense to ask for help in the service. On Kalina 2, from 2013 onwards, to replace the lamps in the left headlight unit, it is necessary to take the air filter to the side so that it does not interfere. In the right headlamp unit, nothing will prevent the replacement.
